Always on the hunt for chocolate!

The Chocolate Hotel is centrally located in the heart of Westerstede, the county seat, on the town square in beautiful Ammerland, between Emden and Bremen. If you’re coming by car, you can reach us directly via the A28. Parking and charging stations for electric cars and e-bikes are available right at the hotel. The Westerstede-Ocholt train station is about 7 km away. There is a bus service—but we’d also be happy to call a taxi for you.

  • Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays starting at 7:00 a.m.

Chocolate Shop

  • daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Vossini Restaurant

  • Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays and Sundays from 12:30 PM to 10:00 PM (hot meals served until 9:00 PM) – We recommend making a reservation in advance

Breakfast at Piura Restaurant

  • Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. – We recommend that you make a reservation in advance
  • On weekends from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – We recommend that you make a reservation in advance

Chocolate Lounge

  • Daily starting at 11 a.m. (only during summer vacation)
  • Sunday through Thursday until 11 p.m.
  • Fridays and Saturdays until midnight—Enjoy a coffee break or wind down in the evening!

Chocolate Spa

  • Swimming pool: 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Sauna: 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM, Sunday through Friday
  • Open on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 10:30 a.m.

Chocolate Shop

Are you traveling by electric car? Then you’ll be happy to hear that we have a Type 2 charging station with 11 kW of charging power available for you. Recharge your battery while your car is charging. And no—our charging station really does run on electricity, not chocolate.

Directions to the hotel

from all directions

  • Traveling by car:

    Take the A28 highway and exit at Westerstede.

    Follow the signs toward Westerstede Center.

    Follow Bahnhofstraße and you'll find the hotel on your right.

  • Directions by public transportation:

    Take the train to Westerstede Ocholt Station, then take the bus to the Westerstede Central Bus Station (ZOB). The hotel is located right next to the ZOB, just a few minutes' walk away.

  • Traveling by bike:

    Follow the bike path along Bahnhofstraße toward Westerstede. The hotel is located across from Takko and right on the market square.
